Description
King Dasharatha, father of the great Lord Shri Rama, had appeased Lord Shani by composing a few hymns on his greatness, seeking his blessings and compassion upon him. This is known as the Dasharath Krit Shani Stotra. Its sacred verses which, when chanted will help a soul suffering from Shani dosh to get quick relief from problems.
Getting 8 paath Parayana done for 8 days (totally 64 paaths) will help a devotee to appease Shani Bhagwan in the same manner as King Dasharatha sought boons.
