In this havan, 12,000 ahutis of tila homa are offered, pinda pradhaana, pitru avahana, poorvanga daanam, sakala devata avahana, utharanga daanas are offered to satisfy the ancestral soul and free the karta from Pitru dosha. It can be performed on any day not necessarily only during Pitru Paksha.
