Raman Swathi Prasad
Karma Rahasya teacher, philanthropist and corporate leader
Raman Swathi Prasad is the Digital Coach for Karma Rahasya at Skanda Vel Vidyalaya, the learning platform of Poojas.in. He serves as Country Head at a leading MNC, has spent over 20 years funding charitable work from his own income, and has attended more than 200 Nadi astrology sessions that shaped his understanding of how karma works in a human life.
His teaching does not come from books alone. It comes from two decades of watching what happened in his own life each time he gave, and from checking those observations against the palm-leaf readings of the Nadi tradition, again and again.

Who is Raman Swathi Prasad?
By profession, Raman Swathi Prasad is a seasoned corporate leader. He serves as Country Head at a leading multinational company, a role that asks for clear judgment, long-term thinking and responsibility for many people at once.
Outside that role, he has lived a second life of quiet, sustained service. For more than two decades he has funded charitable work across over 60 categories of need, reaching people of every caste, gender and background. Nothing about it was outsourced or sponsored. Every rupee came from his own hard-earned income.
That combination matters for anyone deciding whether to learn from him. He is not a renunciate speaking from outside ordinary life. He has a demanding job, family responsibilities and the same pressures most students carry. What he teaches about karma has been tested inside that life, over twenty years, with real money and real consequences.
Today he also guides others who want to give meaningfully, helping them choose where and how to contribute so that their giving actually reaches people in need. As the instructor of Karma Rahasya at Skanda Vel Vidyalaya, he now shares the principles he discovered with students from around the world.
The charitable work of Raman Swathi Prasad
Over 2,000 families have received support through his work. The needs he has met range from a single meal to a roof over a family's head. A few of the areas his giving has reached:
Food and daily needs
Food support for families who could not meet basic needs, along with annadaana at temples so that devotees and the hungry are fed.
Education
Help with the costs of schooling and study, so that children and young people from struggling families can keep learning.
Healthcare and surgeries
Medical support for the underprivileged, including sponsorship of life-saving surgeries for people who had no other way to pay.
Housing and shelter
Paying rents for families at risk of losing their homes and helping build safe shelters for those without one.
Marriage and livelihood
Marriage support for families who could not afford the expenses, and vocational assistance so that people can earn with dignity.
Temple support
Sponsoring idols, meeting temple requirements and adopting several temples. This includes funding annadaana mantapas, building toilets and sustaining the daily nithya pooja.
Animals too
His service has never stopped at people. He has rescued many animals and sponsored life-saving surgeries for animals as well. In the dharmic view, compassion toward every living being, jiva daya, carries merit of its own.
How 200 Nadi astrology sessions shaped his understanding of karma
Through years of giving, Swathi kept noticing the same thing. Every act of kindness seemed to send a positive ripple back into his own life. Obstacles eased. Things he needed arrived. The pattern was too consistent to dismiss, and it raised a question he could not answer on his own: what exactly is happening here?
To find out, he turned to Nadi astrology. Over the years he has attended more than 200 Nadi sessions. Those readings validated experiences he had already lived through and gave him direction for the road ahead. Taken together, they revealed what he calls the deeper principles of Karma Rahasya: the hidden mechanics of how good deeds accumulate karmic merit and influence a person's destiny.
Very few people anywhere have sat for 200 Nadi readings. That depth is exactly why researchers and fellow seekers are now reaching out to hear about it first-hand. A recorded conversation with Jayesh, in which Swathi discusses these 200 sessions, has drawn attention from Nadi researchers outside India.
What is Nadi astrology?
Nadi Jyotisha is a Tamil tradition of predictive astrology built on ancient palm-leaf manuscripts. Tradition holds that great sages, including Agastya, Kaushika and Vasishta, foresaw the lives of individual souls and recorded them on these leaves. A trained Nadi reader identifies the right bundle, usually through the seeker's thumb impression, and reads out the matching leaf in classical Tamil verse.
A Nadi reading does more than predict. Many leaves describe the karmic causes behind present difficulties, often linked to actions in previous births, and then prescribe pariharas, which are remedies. These remedies very often take the form of charity, feeding people, temple service or care for animals. For someone already living a life of giving, this is where the readings and lived experience met.
Poojas.in offers Nadi readings in two traditions: the Agasthya Naadi Consultation and the Skanda Naadi Consultation. You can read more about the tradition on our Nadi astrology guide.
Raman Swathi Prasad is a seeker who has attended over 200 Nadi sessions. He is not a Nadi leaf reader. At Poojas.in, every Nadi session is supervised by Dr. Mekhala V Jois, while the leaves are read by a separate Nadi expert.
What is Karma Rahasya? The secret of action
Rahasya means a secret, something hidden that has to be revealed. Karma Rahasya is the hidden working of karma: why the same effort brings success to one person and struggle to another, why some difficulties refuse to move, and how a person can consciously change the balance.
The Bhagavad Gita itself warns that this subject is not simple. Sri Krishna tells Arjuna that action, wrong action and inaction must all be understood, because the path of karma is deep.
karmaṇo hy api boddhavyaṁ boddhavyaṁ ca vikarmaṇaḥ
akarmaṇaś ca boddhavyaṁ gahanā karmaṇo gatiḥ
"One must understand what action is, what wrong action is, and what inaction is. Deep indeed is the way of karma."
Bhagavad Gita 4.17
The three kinds of karma in the Karma Rahasya framework
Vedantic teaching, set out in texts such as the Tattva Bodha, divides karma into three stores. Understanding them explains why giving can change a life that seems fixed by destiny.
Sanchita karma
The total store of karma accumulated across all past lives, both merit and demerit. Most of it has not yet begun to bear fruit.
Prarabdha karma
The portion of that store which has already started to unfold in this birth. This is what an astrological chart, and a Nadi leaf, largely describe.
Agami karma
The new karma created by present actions. This is the only part fully in our hands today, and it is where conscious punya is built.
This is the practical core of what Swathi teaches. Prarabdha has to be lived through, but how heavily it presses depends a great deal on the punya a person keeps adding through Agami karma. Steady, well-directed giving does not erase the past. It changes the conditions in which the past plays out.
Why the right kind of giving matters
Not all giving carries the same weight. The Gita describes the purest form of charity in precise terms, and Swathi's own practice follows this standard.
dātavyam iti yad dānaṁ dīyate 'nupakāriṇe
deśe kāle ca pātre ca tad dānaṁ sāttvikaṁ smṛtam
"Charity given because it ought to be given, to one who can give nothing in return, at the right place, at the right time and to a worthy recipient, is called sattvic."
Bhagavad Gita 17.20
The Karma Rahasya course with Raman Swathi Prasad
Karma Rahasya Level 1 helps you understand how past-life actions and accumulated karma influence your present experiences and your future path. The aim is simple to state and harder to practise: see clearly what each kind of action produces, build positive karma deliberately, and stop repeating the patterns that lead to suffering.
Swathi's approach is to make these principles plain. Students learn how different actions create different karmic results across three areas of life:
Material life. How karmic merit eases the path to stable work, income and the things a family needs.
Health. How conscious action supports wellbeing alongside proper medical care, which it never replaces.
Spiritual growth. How purified action brings inner steadiness and moves a seeker forward on the path.
Patterns to avoid. Which habits and actions keep creating suffering, so they can be recognised and set aside.

Why learn karma from a practitioner
Plenty of people can explain the theory of karma. Far fewer have spent twenty years testing it with their own income, across thousands of families, and then cross-checked what they saw through more than 200 Nadi readings. Raman Swathi Prasad's teaching rests on that record.
He also teaches from the middle of ordinary life. As a Country Head at a leading MNC, he understands career pressure, financial planning and responsibility. Students who carry the same weight find his guidance usable on a Monday morning, not only in a temple.
There is one more detail that sets this course apart. The proceeds earned through Karma Rahasya are reinvested into charitable initiatives. By enrolling, a student's fee itself becomes part of the cycle of giving the course teaches.
Finally, the course sits inside Skanda Vel Vidyalaya, led by Dr. Mekhala V Jois. The two have worked together on many charitable causes, including annadaana, temple construction and renovation, medical aid, education sponsorships and livelihood support.

Who is Raman Swathi Prasad?
Raman Swathi Prasad is the Digital Coach for Karma Rahasya at Skanda Vel Vidyalaya, the learning platform of Poojas.in. He is a corporate leader serving as Country Head at a leading MNC and a philanthropist who has funded charitable work across more than 60 categories for over 20 years, supporting over 2,000 families entirely from his own income.
What is Karma Rahasya?
Karma Rahasya means "the secret of karma." It refers to the hidden mechanics of how actions, especially good deeds, accumulate karmic merit and influence a person's destiny. As a course, it teaches students to understand the effect of different actions, identify weak areas in their lives, practise karmic correction and build punya (positive karma) consciously.
How did 200 Nadi astrology sessions shape Raman Swathi Prasad's teaching?
After years of charitable work, Swathi noticed that every act of kindness created a positive ripple in his own life. Over more than 200 Nadi astrology sessions, the palm-leaf readings validated those life experiences and guided his path forward. Together, the experience and the readings revealed the karmic principles he now teaches in Karma Rahasya.
Is Raman Swathi Prasad a Nadi astrologer or leaf reader?
No. Raman Swathi Prasad is a seeker who has attended more than 200 Nadi sessions, not a Nadi leaf reader. His teaching draws on that experience as a recipient of the readings. At Poojas.in, Nadi sessions are supervised by Dr. Mekhala V Jois and the leaves are read by a separate Nadi expert.
What does the Karma Rahasya Level 1 course cover?
Level 1 explains how past-life actions and accumulated karma influence present experiences and the future path. Through self-reflection, students identify the weak areas in their lives, work on them through karmic correction practices and learn to accumulate punya. Guided assignments help students apply the teachings in daily life.
Where do the proceeds from the Karma Rahasya course go?
The proceeds earned through the Karma Rahasya course are reinvested into charitable initiatives. This extends the same cycle of giving and impact that the course teaches.
