For problems related to vision or eye-sight, we perform the Chakshushopanishad from the Krishna Yajur Veda. This is a powerful mantra that needs to be chanted after taking the appropriate sankalpa by a brahmin priest. The priest will begin the chants on a Sunday morning at the time of Sunrise or Suryoday with the sankalpa. Then everyday atleast 10 malas have to be chanted continuously for 48 days or one mandala. Depending upon the intensity of the problem, we may have to increase the chants or the number of days of chants from one mandal to 2 mandalas. The number of chants will be decided based on the horoscope or prashna jatakam.
Cost can be arrived at only after deriving at the requirement - that is the number of mandalas as well as sankhya for each day.
This pooja is not a substitute for medication. However, it will help the person suffering from vision problems in getting a good doctor, good treatment, correct diagnosis and speedy recovery. So medical supervision is a must through a registered practitioner.
